フィリピン生まれ。
母国フィリピンで、歯科技工士の専門大学に通っていました。2000年から米国に住んでいます。自分の経歴を生かし、デンタルドクターの元で歯科技工士として働き、その後、セキュリティ業務のノウハウを学び、現在はセキュリティマネージャーとして、オフィスビルの警備に当たっています。
人と話をすることが大好きな性格から、観光客のツアードライバーとして働き出し、10年ほどの月日が流れました。パンデミックなど予想のできない出来事があって、大変な時期もありましたが、今はドジャースのおかげもあって、日本からのお客さまのお世話で忙しくさせていただいています。
日本語は挨拶程度しかしゃべれませんが、英語でのご案内ならお任せください。地元の人に人気なスポットや、隠れ家的存在のレストランやセレブの出没率の高いお店もご案内できます。皆さんの滞在が、より豊かなものになるお手伝いができれば幸いです。
Meet Larry – Your Tour Driver
Born and raised in the Philippines, I pursued a specialized education in dental technology before moving to the United States in 2000. I began my career here as a dental technician under the supervision of a licensed dentist. Over time, I expanded my skills and transitioned into the field of security operations, where I currently serve as a Security Manager overseeing building safety and protocols.
Driven by my passion for meeting new people and sharing local culture, I also started working as a tour driver—an experience that has brought me great joy for over ten years. Despite the challenges brought on by the pandemic, I’m grateful to say that business is thriving once again, thanks in part to the excitement surrounding the Dodgers!
While my Japanese is limited to basic greetings, I am fully confident in guiding tours in English. Whether you’re looking for iconic landmarks, local favorites, hidden gem restaurants, or even celebrity hangouts, I’m here to make your visit memorable and meaningful.
